The International Expert-Consultant Certificate confirms the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie's commitment to promoting the values of Fine Watchmaking by distinguishing the leading Fine Watch sales associates.

The first two successful candidates were awarded their certificate at an official ceremony on Tuesday September 9th at the Mandarin Hôtel du Rhône in Geneva.
Presenting the certificates to the two successful candidates, Mr Gael Grégolin (Bucherer) and Mr Alexis Meyer (Les Ambassadeurs), Mr Franco Cologni, Chairman of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie, emphasised the merit of the International Expert-Consultant Certificate which singles out the foremost professionals in the promotion and sale of Fine Watches.
Four candidates sat the examination, which is open to the best sales associates from multi-brand watch retailers and brands' own stores. This first session took place in Geneva on June 18th at the initiative of the Swiss and the French delegation of the FHH.
- It comprised five separate tests, each marked out of 20 by a panel of distinguished professionals*:
- A questionnaire on technical and precious mechanical watches (coefficient 1)
- A questionnaire on sales techniques (coef. 1)
- Documentary research on the perpetual calendar, which candidates then defended before two members of the jury (coef. 2)
- An interview with a watchmaker on how to handle and adjust a watch, and after-sales service (coef. 2)
- An interview with a specialist instructor in sales techniques (coef. 2)
The examination will take place once a year and will be organised in other markets where the FHH is present.
Through this initiative, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie distinguishes successful candidates with a certificate that is recognised by the major watch brands that support the Foundation and by the retail network. The FHH will further acknowledge their achievement with extensive communication throughout its network and in the international press.
